Blogmas Day 1: Santa Brought Us Miley Cyrus

Holaaaaaaaaaaa y’all! Welcome to Blogmas! Yup, that’s right it’s Blogmas and IWS Radio is participating! We’ll be posting SOMETHING here on this blog every single day in December. I have no idea WHAT we will post, but we’ll figure it out. Somedays is might be a hilarious story. Others it might be something really deep and thoughtful. Sometimes it will just be a funny video and maybe every once in a while we’ll take an article written by some self-important political or sports pundit and analyze their analysis or possibly make fun of them. Most likely make fun of them.
Anyway, it’s Blogmas and we’re fully committed. That makes me just a little …

HA! Not really, I just wanted to post a pic of Miley Cyrus’ butt. It’s a nice butt. I’m sure her new song “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” is wonderful. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet though. Maybe I will this weekend. No, lots of football and, of course IWS Radio is happening this weekend. I’ll try to next week. We’ll see. If you’re interested, and I know that you are, you can watch it right here:

Did you enjoy it? I hope so. Miley is a nice girl. I’m sure it’s way better than that silly new song by Ariana Grande.

Damn, I’m coming back with some serious content! This is gonna be fun! Speaking of “coming back” I’m making my triumphant return to IWS Radio this week! Hell yeah! I’ve been on Leave of Absence for, uh, let’s see, ONE WEEK! Whew! I missed everyone! It was okay though because Jamie Mapleleaf stood in for me and she rocked the house! Seriously, check it out:

Jamie and Matt-Man did just fine without me. No problem at all. I wasn’t even needed. Nope. Not. One. Bit. Now, I’m sad. I’ll get over it though cause tomorrow it will be time to get back in the saddle and ride as we join the War on Christmas, which is already in progress! I highly recommend y’all listen!

Anyway, as I was saying, it’s Blogmas and IWS Radio is participating cause that’s the kind of people we are. We like to join fun parties like this. Plus, Blogmas is the most special time of year. I hope everyone else is in the Blogmas spirit. It would be just awful if there was also a War on Blogmas. If there is count us in on that war too. We’re ready to kick some ass!

IWS Radio was Featured on Howard Stern Show!

Back in January Richard Christy from the Howard Stern Show ... YES THAT HOWARD STERN! THE KING OF ALL MEDIA HOWARD STERN! ... called into IWS Radio and prank called us. Of course we had no idea who it was. We figured it was just another BTR prankster. We had no idea it was a professional big-time prankster of such high esteem. Anyway, today they played the audio from that prank call and, well, Matt-Man and Jayman were on the Howard Stern Show!

HELL YEAH BITCHES! And, if you want to hear the show that that audio came from, and I know that you do, here it is! Check it out! The prank calls (we kept hanging up no him) come in the first half of the show. Very exciting, right?

Season 8 Finale: The End of the Road?

Another great IWS Radio Show in the can...
After last week's disaster, Matt-Man and Jayman are celebrating our Season Eight Finale by picking through the charred remains of the IWS Radio empire hoping to salvage enough to use as a foundation to rebuild.
We're dealing with hurt feelings, dysfunction and low morale. People are angry, man. People are angry. IWS Radio is most definitely at its nadir. Rebuilding will be a Herculean effort and we just don't know if we're up to it.
It is Matt and Jay's hope that by looking back at the good times and playing some of our favorite moments from the past season we can find reason to rebuild and move forward.
As always there was be witty banter ... assuming we can be witty in these trying times ... good and bad songs and a booze taste testing segment that was sorely needed.
Our very own Omarosa, Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf was there along with what's left of the IWS Players. We'll also talk about how Donald Trump somehow managed to have a worse week than we did!
Give it a listen and have some laughs...

IWS Choose a New Hometown While Being Attack by InfoWars

We have made a decision! After hours and hours of anguish the staff of IWS Radio finally settled on which city will host the NEW IWS RADIO WORLD MEDIA HEADQUARTERS! Who won? You'll have to tune in to find out! As you know there were four finalists: Truth or Consequences, NM, Intercourse, PA, Spread Eagle, WI, and Islamberg, NY. Each city had many positives and a few negatives, but after putting it up for a vote on Facebook and discussing it amongst ourselves we finally decided on one city that we think best represents what IWS Radio is all about!

As always our lovely and talented Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the IWS Players to entertain the masses. We'll have some witty banter, good and bad songs, and a booze taste test. And of course who knows what else might happen! Like Alex Jones from InfoWars might launch an OUTRAGEOUS ATTACK on IWS Radio! All this plus YOUR CALLS @ 661.244.9852! Call us up and let us know what is on your mind and let's celebrate our new hometown of ......

That 70's Show: Disco Ball Of Hilarity

Jay and Matt are firing up the IWS Time Machine and truckin' on back to the days of pastel leisure suits, ABBA playing on the 8 track player, and young boys everywhere getting their first erection while watching Charlie's Angels. That's right...we're headed to the 1970's.
We are celebrating the good, the bad, and the ugly of the 70's as the disco ball of hilarity spins around. We'll have clips of 70's shows, good/bad music, reminisce about our own lives in the 70's, and talk about the simpler times when kids played outside, and Presidential cover-ups didn't involve stars.
All of that plus IWS Radio's very own  Dancing Queen Jamie Mapleleaf, alcohol taste testing, witty banter, and your phone calls at 661.244.9852 as IWS Radio presents: That 70's Show: Disco Ball Of Hilarity

more iconic when it falls on April Fool's Day, and we are going to hilariously celebrate the hell out of that juxtaposition!!
Christ will be exiting the cave in the form of witty banter, alcohol taste testing, jokes that will send Jay and Matt straight to hell, bad and good music, and special guests such as Rev. Moneymaker, Guy Ahnyurdyck, Paul Piatt, and Bionic Bill.
All of that, plus the HOT Canadian sinner Jamie Mapleleaf, and your phone calls at 661.244.9852, as IWS Radio presents...Easter Fool's Day 2018: May The Farce Be With You

The Forty-Five Greatest Men in American History And Stormy Daniels

American has produced some of the greatest men the world has ever known.

Men who have inspired others to greatness and quite simply saved the world from fascism, authoritarianism and communism.

But, only forty-five men have been able to rise above all others to become President of the United States. These are the best of the best and the worst of the worst.

IWS Radio is here to celebrate these great, yet flawed men. Matt-Man and Jayman will talk about their favorite presidents and which ones they think are underrated and overrated and some little known facts about some of them.
As always there will be witty banter, good and bad music and the always hilarious The Good, The Bad, The Sudzy Booze Taste Test. Joining Matt and Jay will be our Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf and the IWS Players. Plus there will be a special Toilet Talk with Tinyhead! It was an action-packed two hours of history and hilarity!
It was an epic show, so give it a listen, and thank us later!!

January if Full of Sickness, Sadness and Shutdowns

Are you suffering from the Winter Blues? Feeling a little blah? January is the most boring and saddest month of the year. People are having emotional let-downs after the holidays and suffering through the long, gloomy, snowy nights. Plus the Flu is ravaging the country keeping people home and shutting down schools. On top of all that we're staring yet another government shutdown in the face. On top of that the Patriots are up to their old tricks. Is Tom Brady REALLY injured? We'll discuss this silliness. Things look pretty gloomy y'all! Good thing Matt-Man and Jayman are here to lift your spirits and turn that frown upside down! We'll put a smile on your face and help you through the bad times and fill your hearts with love. Or something.

As always Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the IWS Players to keep the party going. We'll have some witty banter, good and bad songs and do a booze taste test plus who knows what other shenanigans we'll get into. All this and, as always, a bunch of wacky calls from HI-larious trolls! You gotta check this one out!

Thoughts on Larry Wilmore, Curt Schilling and the NFL Draft 2016

It was another charming and at times rather hilarious episode of IWS Radio this week. Matt-Man and Jayman are always so relaxed when broadcasting from their home away from home Hodgepodge Lodge. The conversation flows more easily and they take a much more light-hearted view of things like Ted Cruz picking Carly Fiorina as his running mate. The nerve! A guy who isn’t going to win the nomination picking a running mate! I mean, it figures that a truly despicable person line Cruz would pick another despicable person like Carly, but whatever.

It matters not though folks cause the IWS gang has been spending our time relaxing at the Lodge, swimming and fishing in the lakes, hiking the trails and clearing our minds of all the filthy and unsavory things we have to deal with in this world. It’s important to get away from the rat-race from time to time and recharge the batteries, ya know?

Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf was with us lounging in her opulent quarters. Jayman bragged about his private compound and Matt and Schmoop despaired over the fact that they didn’t know they could build their own cabin and were stuck in a regular guest room. Very sad. Guy Ahnyurdyck, KiKi Shoutout and a few other IWS Players also joined us.

We also checked in with Curt Schilling to see how he’s doing after being fired by ESPN gave some thoughts on the White House Correspondent’s Dinner and Larry Wilmore’s up and down routine. As well as the NFL Draft!

Goodness this show was just chocked full of goodness and fun times. We highly recommend you listen to it!

Get Inspired in 2016 With IWS Radio!

Boy howdy did IWS Radio bring in the new year! Let me tell ya folks, Matt-Man and Jayman must have made resolutions to bring the funny in 2016 because that’s exactly what they did this week. Well, more or less. What all happened on the first show of 2016? Well, I’m glad you asked …

Jay woke up in an excited state!

Matt-Man worked the boring days last week at the Beer Mine (conveniently located at the corner of Elmore and Burnett Rds in Bagwine, Ohio).

The University of Dayton defeated the University of Arkansas in OT in men’s basketball and that meant that Jayman had to sing the U of D fight song!

There was a heck of a crowd in the chat room engaging in all kinds of hilariously witty banter.

Bumwine Bob from the Bumming With Bobcat was there. He also got a shout out for hosting the NFL Pick ‘Em contest.

Robert the Taylor from Razzamataz Radio was there and even called in although nobody could really understand him.

Matt and Jay discussed resolutions and agreed they only really have to just keep being the awesome guys they already are.

Of course our Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf was there and she once again delivered a vicious, yet accurate introduction of the Matt-Man.

Some of the worst songs ever were featured in the Bad Songs of the Week segment. It won’t be easy to top these!

Rev Moneymaker reminded everyone to put Jesus first, but also remember to eat, drink and be merry.

Paul Piatt showed off his rhetorical genius once again and called out Robert the Taylor as only he can.

Drew Peacock made us all feel dirty and weird as only HE can do.

Slyer Ballzcock was there with a very special Happy New Year present for Matt and Schmoop!

And soooooooooooooo much more! Make it your resolution to listen to IWS Radio early and often in 2016 and most definitely check out this week’s show …

Donald Trump For IWS Radio

Hey all you winners out there. Next President of the United States, Donald Trump here for IWS Radio. You know, I get asked my opinion on a lot of things because people know that I don’t associate with losers. So, when people ask me which internet radio show I listen to I tell them IWS Radio.

Matt and Jay are simply the best internet radio hosts anywhere in the world. They’re smart, funny and super talented. Both are true gentlemen too and I mean that. You know a lot of internet radio shows have come and gone over the last five years. Mostly gone. Why? Because they’re losers! They’re a bunch of lightweights! They have no talent. They’re not committed to greatness. Matt and Jay have blown them all away with their hard work and desire to be the best. That’s the kind of thing that impresses me. Just take a look at what they’ve got planned for their Fifth Anniversary Show this week …

“Grab a bottle of your favorite booze and crank up the volume because Jay, Matt, and everyone at IWS Radio are celebrating five years on the BlogTalkRadio network. After five years, 300+ episodes, and nearly 1.8 million listens since the painful C-section birth of IWS Radio, it's time for a podcast party of comedic proportions.

Jay, Matt, and the rest of the IWS Radio team reflect on the best and worst of season five, while dignitaries such as Bill Clinton, John McCain, Donald Trump, Keith Olbermann, and many others chime in about the less than profound effect IWS Radio has had on their lives.

So join Jay, Matt, Bobby Kraft, Guy Ahnyurdyck, Rev. Moneymaker, Jamie MapleLeaf, Schmoop, Slyder Balzcock and the rest of the gang along with your phone calls at 661.244.9852, as IWS Radio presents: Saying Goodbye To Season Five.”

Tremendous! Just awesome! If you aren’t listening to IWS Radio you are a LOSER! So do yourself a favor and listen to “Saying Goodbye toSeason Five” on IWS Radio this Sunday at 12 Noon ET. Don’t disappoint me. You don’t want to do that.

Donald Trump For President?

After a false start thanks to BTR’s incompetence and general lack of caring about its hosts, Matt-Man and Jayman finally got to do their super immature childish humor show. And since it was a super immature childish humor show they of course featured all the idiots losing to Donald Trump in the republican primary. Plus we threw in a lot of other really funny stuff.

Matt-Man had to deal with some moron from Cleveland who insisted Matt answer the phone at the Beer Mine (conveniently located at the corner of Elmore and Burnett Roads in Bagwine, Ohio).

Jayman encounter a couple of Hipster wannabes at the barber shop and had to resist the urge to mock them in public.

Mike Huckabee promises to make prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers and other freeloaders pay their fair share.

Chris Christie and Rand Paul hug it out.

Paul Piatt stepped outside of his comfort zone with a hilariously childish poem.

Keith Olbermann dropped by with a special commentary that just might get him fired from IWS.

Ahnald have trysts with many different women at his home. Some of the women came several times.

Donald Trump put Megyn Kelly in her place and might have just finished her pathetic career off!

Erick Erickson came to Megyn’s defense. Well, in his own sick, perverted way.

Albert Pujols is …. Retarded?

Ted Cruz is childish. Not, childish humor, just childish.

Anderson Cooper is amused by getting the full twelve inches promised.

CNN is all about the Money Shot.

Robert the Taylor called in and was brilliant as usual.

We called Missalicious to see what was up with her and that got AWWWWWKWARD!

And soooooooo much more! Check it out!

Anna Kendrick and IWS Radio are Pitch Perfect

IWS Radio is proud to announce that our Person of the Week is "Pitch Perfect 2" star Anna Kendrick!

Much like IWS Radio Anna is multi-talented, hot and hilarious! She can sing and dance and act and is just an all-around really awesome person.

She's also very excited about Jay and Matt Unplugged on IWS Radio this week. Just like cute and quirky Anna, Jay and Matt are very predictable. There is no telling what they are going to do or say on this week's show because they haven't done any planning or prep. Sure, they've uploaded some old audios to play and maybe some bad and good music if things get slow, but there's not telling where this show will go or how long it will last. This week's show is going to be almost as charming, wacky, silly, sexy and fun as Anna Kendrick is!

So, congrats to Anna Kendrick for being named IWS Person of the Week and don't forget to tune into "Jay and Matt: Unplugged" at 12 Noon ET on IWS Radio! See you there!

Killing It on IWS Radio!

As if killing it while discussing movies and music the last two weeks, IWS Radio completed the pop culture trifecta this week by talking about comedy! Not just different styles of stand-up, but comedy writing and sketch comedy and just about anything that makes us laugh. It was a freaking comedy extravaganza!

Matt opened the show by talking about doing a little bidness with register.com and finding out the people helping him actually listen to IWS Radio!

Jayman talks about all the love he got from friends and family on his birthday. To show how much he’s grown as a person he totally didn’t mention any of the people who DIDN’T wish him a happy birthday!

Matt and Jay agreed that any mistakes made during the show could easily be blamed on the time change thus relieving them of any responsibility for anything that went wrong.

Bobby Kraft did a hilarious standup routine recorded live from the Soupy Sales Memorial Comedy Stage at Hodgepodge Lodge. He totally trashed all the people whining about the time change.

There was a short discussion about Seinfeld the comedian and Seinfeld the sitcom. Plus a celebration of the “Schmoopie” episode.

Jerry Clower was celebrated for his wit, humor and humanity.

George Carlin shared an incomplete list of impolite words.

Rob Barlet entertained the folks in his own special way.

Doug Stanhope gave an example of people taking comedy out of context.

Chris Rock and Bill Burr shared some bits of reality with us.

Matt-Man sneakily rounded up some Happy Birthday wishes for the Jayman.

Jamie Mapleleaf called in to save the show near the end.

There was a quick discussion about comedians we hate and whether or not women are funny.

And so much more! Definitely check this one out!

Jerry Seinfeld Finds IWS Radio Hilarious

Hey guys! Jerry Seinfeld here and I want to let everyone know that my friends and colleagues over at IWS Radio are going to talk about comedy on this week’s show. What a great change of pace this will be for Matt and Jay to actually be funny! Imagine that! Being funny on a COMEDY SHOWWWWW!

Just look at this amazing show description!

"Matt-Man and Jayman decided to keep the exploration of popular culture going by talk about comedy this week. Everyone loves comedy right? Well except all those humorless jerks out there who can't take a joke or don't recognize sarcasm. Matt and Jay are big fans of stand-up comic, comedy writing, sketch comedy, improv comedy and other comedy.

They will talk about their favorite comics and writers and actors and even play some of their favorite all time comedy bits and all that fun stuff. Matt and Jay will also discuss some of their least favorite comics and why they don't find them funny. Then they'll discuss one of the biggest questions in comedy: Are Women Funny?

As always Jamie Mapleleaf and the IWS Players will be along to bring the funny. Phil Diller and Bobby Kraft will both do a little stand up for ya and who knows who else might show up. Also, don't forget that we'll be taking YOUR CALLS at 661.244.9852. Let us know what you find funny!"

Whoa! This looks like it could be the greatest comedy discussion of all time! Be sure to tune into “Comedy: The Good, the Bad and theHacks” Sunday at 12 Noon ET.

50 Shades of Sexy

IWS Radio was a HAWT mess this week. So. Much. Hawtness!

There were lots of technical issues to begin with. Matt’s computer bit the dust and Google Voice kicked Jayman off the air for a minute.

Matt and Jay quickly recovered and got back on track like the professionals they are though.

Matt’s plans to get a new computer Sunday afternoon were thwarted by Schmoop being calling into work.

Bobby Kraft did a dramatic reading of “50 Shades of Grey.”

Matt and Jay made fun of Valentine’s Day and the women who were competing with each other on social media to see who got the most expensive gifts.

An IWS Classic from Jamie Mapleleaf about V-Day in Canada was played. Hilarious stuff right there!

Worst Songs of the Week really stunk the place up, but in a good way. Terrible tunes from Iggy Pop, Leo Sayer, Celine Dion and Bonnie Tyler.

Matt and Jay discussed which presidents they could beat in a fight. Both agreed on FDR, James Madison and William Henry Harrison and many others. Both did agreed that neither would be willing to roll up on Andrew Jackson even if he was on his deathbed. Also, Warren G. Harding would fight dirty.

Rev Moneymaker is giving up alcohol for Lent. This is big news and we’re all hoping he can follow through with his plans. We have nothing but respect for the Money-Man.

Matt is giving up carbs, but not really for Lent. He’s just had enough of ‘em for a while.

Jayman isn’t doing jack squat for Lent.

Matt and Jay engaged in a fairly serious discussion about when and under what circumstances to allow boobs on the blog.

There was lots of witty banter throughout the show.

You must whip it.

Totally check this show out y’all!
