Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all, and in honor of those who paid the infinite price for defending this great nation of ours, IWS Radio salutes America's fallen heroes as our IWS Persons of the Week.

We would also like to send a special shout-out to those brave nameless and faceless fallen soldiers known but to God...

It's Sunday yet again folks and you know what that means. That's right!! Time for the IWS Person of the Week, and this week IWS Radio is proud to honorrrrrrrrrrr.....

Nobody!!

Yep folks, although Jay, Matt, and the entire IWS Radio staff got together, thought long and hard, and yet...couldn't think of one damn person who deserved to be recognized this week. And can you blame them?

After all...Did even one single politician get behind a mic and and wax inspirationally or have a complete and utter mental meltdown? Nope...

Was there some type of earth shattering and salacious sex scandal that gave perverts a hard-on or made Evangelical Christians and Sean Hannity feign outrage!? Not even close...

Were there any feats of awesomeness from the world of sports this week? The IWS staff of umpires says "strike three"...

And lastly...did anyone of worldwide renown or uber-celebrity status bite the dust this week en route to meet his or her maker? Sadly, the Stygian ferryman Charon says no...

So there you have it.  This week nobody made the cut to be the IWS Person of the Week, and to all of you we say, "Let's pick your game up people. Swearing off meltdowns, abstaining from tawdry sexcapades, and not dying unexpectedly and/or tragically is no way to go through life,"

IWS Person of the Week: The Lesser Known and Hourly Staff at IWS Radio

Happy Sunday to you all, and as you know, if it is Sunday, it's time for the IWS Person(s) of the Week...

Today, Jay, Matt, and the IWS Radio team are taking a look behind the scenes of the show and celebrating those lesser known shadows who truly make IWS Radio the rockin' talk show juggernaut that it is.

First up is Puddles...Jay and Matt do an intense show prep session every Tuesday at 5 PM, but they could not do it without their assistant Puddles, who finds the space and time that allow the dynamic duo to forge the magic that will be cast into the next show...

Of course, Jay and Matt could be the greatest thing since slice bread (which they are) but without a well-meaning, yet shark of a publicist, they would be nothing more than krill for the giants of the internet radio sea, and that is where the IWS publicist Kiki Shoutout comes in...

Publicity leads to buzz and buzz leads to money, but only if one has a top notch sales manager, and IWS Radio is fortunate enough to have Hank Bonner on board as our Executive VP of Sales. Hank is the brother of former WKRP in Cincinnati star Frank Bonner. Hank dresses better than Frank and actually returns our calls...

Lastly...Organization, ratings, and revenue are great but they would go quickly by the wayside if a show did not have a capable satellite truck driver and jose-of-all-trades on hand, and that is why we are very lucky to have Paco on hand and have been since day one. Sure, he makes laugh out loud jokes about his wages and steals fruit from the IWS commissary, but he is, and always will be, our amigo...

So there you have it...A look at some the less than stellar stars than shine less than brightly in the non-cornered offices of IWS Radio. We owe them all a modicum of gratitude. And...

IWS Person(s) of the Week...Famous and Beloved Oscars

Happy Sunday to all and welcome to the last damn Sunday of February 2015...Thanks God!! From Beantown to Bagwine to Redneckville...what a brutal month this has been. So here's to a soon good riddance to the cruel harlot of a month that February is.

But as it is Sunday, it is time for another installation of the IWS Person(s) of the Week, and this week as billions worldwide will be watching the Academy Awards this evening, what better way to celebrate than to celebrate famous Oscars as our Persons of the Week...

Our first honoree is none other than the flamboyant, pan-sexual wordsmith, and IWS fave, Oscar Wilde he or she self...

 

Mr. Wilde's writings put smiles upon the faces of many people. Oscars have a knack for making people smile, just like the jovial half of The Odd Couple, the devil-may-care, professional slob, one Mr. Oscar Madison...

The Oscar happiness effect is very evident in our next inductee, because you see...Men want to have a jumbo wiener and ladies are hot for a jumbo wiener as well, and who other than Oscar Mayer can satisfy both by bringing the Jumbo Wiener to the table...

 

Of course...Every rule has its exception, and the exception to the Oscar happiness effect is Seame's Street very own resident curmudgeon, yet oddly loyal IWS Radio fan, Oscar the Grouch...

But as it is the night when the red carpet is strewn and the celebrities of cinema have their big night, we would be remiss if we didn't include Mr. Academy Award himself...Oscar!!

So there you have it...A bevy of wonderful men named Oscar who are IWS Radio Person(s) of the Week.  Congrats all!!

As always…If it’s Sunday, it’s time for the IWS Person of the Week, and this week boy howdy do we have something special planned for you.

Typically, we look outside of the inner-sanctum and cloistered halls of IWS Radio and look for someone who has made news in the world during the week.  But this week?

We have done a 180 with our necks, and looked within our very own staff, and we pronounce Matt-Man, who just turned 50, our IWS Radio Person of the Week…

Matt-Man, while humble and gentile (and by that I mean he is GENTEEL, not that he is a non-Jew, although he is) has had a history of bringing the girls to the yard, and those lucky girls always remember their first time, and delight in it…

As skillful as he is with the ladies, Matt-Man also has the enate ability to appear considerate and act like he actually cares what you are talking about…

He really doesn't, but he does what he has to do in order for everyone that he meets to feel comfortable, unless of course…

You are one of those idiots who feels that flashing a Peace Sign is all the rage, and then?  Well…He is none to happy…

IWS Person of the Week...Mitt Romney

Sunday as always, is Person of the Week day here on the IWS Radio website, and if there is one thing the staff and management here at IWS appreciate, is any person who holds on to his or her own dream like grim death, and attempts to keep it alive.

This week we honor such a person. A man who after two failed attempts to become President of the United States, is willing to stick his losing neck out there one last time.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our IWS Radio Person of the Week and close friend of the IWS Radio Show…Mr. Mitt Romney!!

See?  We here at IWS Radio know Mitt Romney to be a sweetheart and all-around nice guy, but some people who know nothing of him and his moral fiber, try to portray him as some type of Charles Dickens inspired villain…

We know better.  And we know that his third time running for President could be the charm, and as Mitt so accurately and eloquently describes his chances, he could be the next resident of the White House…

Anyway, and in spite of his problem with math, we are in full support of Mitt Romney, and hope he one day achieves his dream…and to those of you who say he should shut his whore mouth?

As it is Sunday once again and a mere four days prior to our world’s annual Christmas celebration, who is more qualified to personify and embody the holy, supernatural, and good-willed spirit of Christmas than this week’s IWS Person of the Week…

Santa Claus!!

Nobody, that’s who.

Santa Claus being the shape shifter that he is, has been around for years in one form or another and once in awhile people have spoken of him as a creepy figure.  It’s an outrage!!  We here at IWS Radio know that among the millions who have sat upon his lap, the lap-sitters are typically far creepier than our beloved Santa Claus…

Many people think of Santa Claus as nothing more than a jolly old gift giving soul who hasn’t a care in life, but his job is incredibly hard.  He alone has to determine for the entire world over the course of year, those who have been naughty and those who have been nice.  More often than not, that can be a very time consuming and difficult job, yet other times, not so much…

Even though there are billions of people in this world, somehow Santa takes the time to investigate each of us individually, and determine if we are worthy of him providing us with his own personal package…

Santa can work his magic like no other and instantly tell if you have been good or bad, and decide if you are worthy of a Christmas gift, or in the case Jay and Matt, an entire Santa sack full of Christmas gifts.  So…

And while some call him a race peddler, a charlatan, or even an opportunistic hate-filled black man, we here at IWS Radio know that Rev. Al Sharpton loves everyone and has been placed here on Earth in order to bring the peace and end the feuding…

IWS Person of the Week...The Incredibly Odd IWS Radio Staff

IWS Radio has become one of the successful comedy shows in the history of  Blog Talk Radio, but your
IWS hosts Jay and Matt haven’t achieved that pinnacle of success without help.

No folks, while Jay and Matt may be behind the IWS Media empire, the various IWS correspondents who grace the airwaves of the internet are the soul and in fact the collective soul of the IWS Radio show, and…

They are the IWS Persons of the Week.

Our correspondents are like a herd of cats as they go off in all directions, but this odd conglomeration of media talent is tops in its field.

Foreign correspondent Guy Ahnyurdyck and his brash and unmarried ways are an abomination to the preachy and pious Rev. Moneymaker, however they both appreciate more than a few drinks from time to time.

Our homespun hero Bobby Kraft seems as mellow as a finely aged cheddar, but he lays it all out there, while our non-descript editorialist Mr. Vague seems to let the listener make up his or her mind as to what the hell he is talking about.

Our literary editor Paul Piatt is very particular about his words and tone, while KleeShay Johnson is more of a generalist, and yet…they both speak volumes 110% of the time.

Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf always leaves the audience with a smile and maple syrupy feel, while Schmoop typically leaves the audience with a “whatever” and a belch.

While Sports Director Slyder Balzcock gets all excited about the adventure in life that is the world of sports, Alarmist Weatherman gets frenetic about the impending death that Mother Nature is certain to lay upon us all.

And of course…Local Redneckville reporter Dixie Ozark finds the entire staff other than her to be more than a bit odd.

Lastly…Jay and Matt may seem to be of same mind, same spirit, and one soul, but not so fast my friends…Jay and Matt are quite the odd couple, but in order to find out how…
