Surviving a Breakup and Moving On

So breakups are a thing? Unfortunately, yes they are. Whether it's lovers or best friends
breakups are the worst. And, as has been predicted since day one there has been a big breakup here at IWS Radio. What? No, not Matt and Jay! I'm talking about Jamie and Guy! Their relationship was doomed from the beginning, but after giving it everything they had, Jamie and Guy have called it quits after six tumultuous years, uh, months, uh weeks. Seems like longer, right?
Anyway, we're here to console both Jamie and Guy and give our best advice to everyone out there on how to survive having your heart blown to smithereens and move on while keeping your dignity intact. Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the IWS Players to join the shenanigans. There will be witty banter, good/bad music and as always, BOOZE! Booze is a very important ingredient in recovering from heartbreak
It was a good time...so give it a listen right here...

Valentine's Day: The Vain Taking From The Whipped

It's that time of year folks, when overpriced jewelry, confections, and flowers flood the marketplace and deplete every man's bank account. That's right, it's Valentine time, and it's all about the ladies on this beautiful and hyper-commercialized day of mutual love and respect. Hearts will be broken when the flowers don't arrive and blackmail will ensue when the wife receives more than the mistress, and...The IWS Radio team is here to both celebrate and hilarious mock the silly observance of Valentine's Day.
Jay and Matt will have plenty of witty banter, cuts of God-Awful love songs, more than a few drinks of booze, Bunches of Questions with Schmoop, heartfelt heckling from Jamie Mapleleaf and your phone calls at 661.244.9852 as IWS Radio presents: Valentine's Day: The Vain Taking From The Whipped

Along with Jay, Matt, Jamie Mapleleaf, and a wild drunken chat room, we had Busted Rhymer, Bobby Kraft, Guy Ahnyurdyck as well as Bionic Bill and Jesse Ferg. I know right? It was yuuuuuuuge!!

So, if you missed the merriment, mayhem, and debauchery live, you can catch all of the Christmas hilarity right here. so grab a drink or eight, sit back, and enjoy some laughs!!

Blogmas Day 11? Matt-Man's Favorite Christmas Songs

Jayman's bitchy girlfriend IF, ORDERED him to post his favorite Christmas songs yesterday, and out of brotherly solidarity, and much to Schmoop's chagrin, I have done the same today. In no particular order, here are my fave Yuletide songs...

A very traditional song, but with two hot babes singing, and the lead chick can belt it OUT, especially at the end. Here is Trans-Siberian Orchestra with Christmas Canon...

I like this song, but only this version...most versions of this song blow. Here's Baby Please Come Home by U2...

There are a couple of Christmas songs Chrissie and the boys did that are good, but this is my fave. 2,000 Miles by the Pretenders...

This band had a hit with "I Know What Boys Like" but this to me, is their signature song...A rap type song by The Waitresses with Christmas Wrapping...

If you don't like The Kinks, you are no friend of mine. Here they are with their awesome Christmas song, Father Christmas...

And while The Kinks sang their Christmas rock anthem about "kids who got nothing", the Godfather of Soul was doing the same. MISTER James Brown, take it away with, Santa Claus Go Straight to the Ghetto...

This song will make me cry if I am feeling melancholy and have had one too many Steel Reserves. Not really sad but it's his voice and his wish that the Christmas feeling lasted forever. My 4th favorite Canadian, Bryan Adams with, Something About Christmas Time...

And lastly, a Christmas offering from my 2nd favorite Canadian. It may be my favorite traditional Christmas song and here it is sung by the angelic voice of one, Sarah McLachlan with O Holy Night...

And there you have it...I could have listed a couple of repeats that Jay chose, such as Dolore O'Riordan and Der Bingle, but..there ya go. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and as always you can reach me at...

War On Christmas 2018: Matt-Man Gets A Purple Heart And Sads

Another gray day here in Bagwine, Ohio. December is like that here, and it will probably more often than not, be like this until the vernal tilt of the Earth begins to return in March. It's just something one in this area lives with. However...

It's a bit more depressing this time because, in addition to the gloomy weather, I have been cramped up in the Bagwine digs for a week with broken ribs, and will be for another two days. Oh the Humanity!! I am depressed and more so,  bored out of my fricking mind!! But I do have a few things upon which I can count.

I have a wonderful wife in Schmoop who has taken care of me, and I have a few close friends through whom I can live vicariously while being under house arrest. I mean, what's more fun than virtually going to Hudson's: The People Pleasin' Place with Jayman, and then hitting up a Wal Mart in Canada with Jamie Mapleleaf for shopping and a Big Mac? Amirite!?

Annnnnd, I always have my buddy Nurse Doom checking in with me daily to ask about my current condition, so she can render an ominous diagnosis as to my future. I love these people!!

Anyway, as I sit here with my cable system's yule log on the TV with soothing Christmas music playing, I consider myself, even in my current state, far luckier than most people on this Earth. And I know that if I need a HUGE laugh in order to get me out of my funk, all I have to do is replay the IWS Radio War on Christmas Show that we did yesterday!!

The show was jam packed with witty banter, Tucker Carlson Action Heros, Bobby Kraft's New Christmas Songs Humming CD, Jamie Mapleleaf, and cough syrup and diluted whiskey. It is Hilarious and you can catch it all right here:

And, if you'd like to lift my spirits now and in the future, you can always be my friend at...

Do Dogs Rule While Cats Drool? An IWS Investigation

The whole Dogs vs Cats debate has been raging for centuries, but IWS Radio has decided to put an end to. Matt-Man and Jayman have wildly different views on this issue and believe it's time to settle the discussion once and for all.
We're gonna break things down scientifically and throw in the intangibles that can't be
measured and decide which is better: Dogs or Cats?
As always our Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the IWS Players to add some charm, sophistication and hilarity to the show. There will be good and bad music and questionable levels of booze consumed and lots and lots of witty banter.
Plus, the phone lines will be open @ 661.244.9852 in case anyone wants to woof at us. HA! See what I did there? You catch the archived version of this show right here...

Season 8 Finale: The End of the Road?

Another great IWS Radio Show in the can...
After last week's disaster, Matt-Man and Jayman are celebrating our Season Eight Finale by picking through the charred remains of the IWS Radio empire hoping to salvage enough to use as a foundation to rebuild.
We're dealing with hurt feelings, dysfunction and low morale. People are angry, man. People are angry. IWS Radio is most definitely at its nadir. Rebuilding will be a Herculean effort and we just don't know if we're up to it.
It is Matt and Jay's hope that by looking back at the good times and playing some of our favorite moments from the past season we can find reason to rebuild and move forward.
As always there was be witty banter ... assuming we can be witty in these trying times ... good and bad songs and a booze taste testing segment that was sorely needed.
Our very own Omarosa, Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf was there along with what's left of the IWS Players. We'll also talk about how Donald Trump somehow managed to have a worse week than we did!
Give it a listen and have some laughs...

A Very IWS Radio Family Reunion

The Dog Days of August are here and with that, many High School and Family Reunions take place, and in this instance, as we move our IWS Headquarters to Three Way, TN., it's time to have a reunion of our own, and celebrate some of our correspondents who have moved on from the IWS Radio family.
Great men and women who gave their all to our team such as Marty Martstein, our traffic guy Dusty Sandman, and others such as Lance Cranston, Drew Peacock, Sinjin Burke, Rocky Rhodes, and our former blue booty shorted, bi-curious news babe, Kim Fragile...

We are going to have a party and find out where they are now and do it with witty banter, old recordings of the former staffers, good/bad music, some alcohol taste testing, Jamie Mapleleaf, and your phone calls at 661.244.9852 as IWS Radio presents: A Very IWS Radio Family Reunion

Grillin' And Swillin' In Detroit Rock City

After a harsh and hilarious smackdown and sacking of Paducah, KY., the IWS Radio staff needs to take a deep breath and relax for a bit, however; we are currently without a permanent offcie. So, we have bought a house in Detroit and are having a Pool Party and Cookout Blowout!! Awwwww Yeahhhhh!!
Join us as we party down, dodge bullets, and blow off steam in the Motor City at our temporary digs. We'll supply the burgers, the booze, the laughs, and the clothing optional Paducah Community swimming pool that we stole last week. There will be witty banter, alcohol taste testing, good/bad music, and Jay and Matt will announce their final four nominees of cities that will, for the lucky city, house the new IWS Media and Entertainment Group Headquarters.
All of that plus the gorgeous and sassy Jamie Mapleleaf, and your calls at 661.244.9852 as IWS Radio presents: Grillin' And Swillin' In Detroit Rock City

Happiness is Paducah Kentucky in Your Rearview Mirror

For EIGHT LONG YEARS Matt-Man and Jayman and the entire staff of IWS Radio have done nothing but praise our adopted hometown of Paducah, Kentucky. We worked hard to
cultivate a strong friendship built on mutual admiration and respect. We were in the process of building the most amazing and beautiful World Headquarters there.

Just as we were ready to hold our grand opening Paducah hung up on us. LITERALLY! Needless to say Matt, Jay, Jamie and our entire staff are in shock. We're hurt. We're angry. We're not gonna take this lying down. IWS Radio is fighting back this week! Paducah can go fBLEEPk itself!
As always our Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf and the IWS Players will be here to help us through this very emotionally difficult time in our lives. We will soldier on with witty banter, good/bad music and, of course, booze. Breaking up is hard to do, but it helps to lash out at the one who hurt you and that's just what we're gonna do! The phone lines will be open @ 661.244.9852 if you want to call in and console us or attempt to defend Paducah.

Although, we don't know why anyone would. Brace yourself Paducah ... IWS is coming for you, and we're bringing hell with us.

That 70's Show: Disco Ball Of Hilarity

Jay and Matt are firing up the IWS Time Machine and truckin' on back to the days of pastel leisure suits, ABBA playing on the 8 track player, and young boys everywhere getting their first erection while watching Charlie's Angels. That's right...we're headed to the 1970's.
We are celebrating the good, the bad, and the ugly of the 70's as the disco ball of hilarity spins around. We'll have clips of 70's shows, good/bad music, reminisce about our own lives in the 70's, and talk about the simpler times when kids played outside, and Presidential cover-ups didn't involve stars.
All of that plus IWS Radio's very own  Dancing Queen Jamie Mapleleaf, alcohol taste testing, witty banter, and your phone calls at 661.244.9852 as IWS Radio presents: That 70's Show: Disco Ball Of Hilarity

The Forty-Five Greatest Men in American History And Stormy Daniels

American has produced some of the greatest men the world has ever known.

Men who have inspired others to greatness and quite simply saved the world from fascism, authoritarianism and communism.

But, only forty-five men have been able to rise above all others to become President of the United States. These are the best of the best and the worst of the worst.

IWS Radio is here to celebrate these great, yet flawed men. Matt-Man and Jayman will talk about their favorite presidents and which ones they think are underrated and overrated and some little known facts about some of them.
As always there will be witty banter, good and bad music and the always hilarious The Good, The Bad, The Sudzy Booze Taste Test. Joining Matt and Jay will be our Canadian Bureau Chief Jamie Mapleleaf and the IWS Players. Plus there will be a special Toilet Talk with Tinyhead! It was an action-packed two hours of history and hilarity!
It was an epic show, so give it a listen, and thank us later!!

The Secret Society Is Laughing At You

Members of the FBI are having secret meetings. Free Masons are secrety building an invisible border wall, and the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants is ominously unravelling across the fabric of our nation. Secret Societies are everywhere these days, so...
Join Jay, Matt, and the IWS Radio team as we hilariously expose them, and provide over the top mockery of all of the conspiracy theorists out there who are full of OUTRAGE, PANIC, and DOOM.
We'll have plenty of witty banter, good/bad music, top notch sketch comedy, alcohol taste testing, Toilet Talk with Tiny Head, the lovely Jamie Mapleleaf, and you phone calls at 661.244.9852 as well!!
So save yourself, and laugh along with us, as IWS Radio presents: The Secret Society Is Laughing At You

The leader of the free world, one Donald Trump, is calling some countries sh*tholes...Jayman is growing a beard, Matt Man is somehow still employed, and Jamie Mapleleaf is singing during show prep and reciting poetry.
What the hell is going on!!? Well, we are going to break it all down and light it up for you this week with witty banter, good/bad music, an Eye on America report, an alcohol taste review, and all sponsored by Donald Trump Shithole Countries Cruise Line, and mucho more-o.

Along the Sullied Boulevard of Words Made Magical

Jay, Matt, Jamie, and the IWS Radio team busted rhymes, struck a prose, and haikued their way to hilarity on this past Sunday's show, as they celebrated National Poetry Month. If you thought you hated poetry before, you'll hate it even more after listening to this show. Give it a listen!!

Getting Clean And Sober With Jesus Christ

With the help of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Jay, Matt, and the IWS Radio gang got clean and sober for nearly 93 minutes on last Sunday's show, and if you missed it LIVE, you can catch all of the quasi non-alcoholic hilarity right c'here...
