March Madness, Boycott Indiana and Goofing Off

It was a triumphant return to the airwaves for Matt-Man and Jayman and IWS Radio this week! After a long and seeming interminable hiatus of one week, IWS Radio came roaring back to life and brought warmth and love to the masses while celebrating Spring Break, March Madness and mocking bigotry!

Jayman received a very disturbing call via Facebook Messenger for Android at 3:30 in the morning.

Matt-Man had to deal with a customer at the Beer Mine (conveniently located at the corners of Elmore and Burnett Road) who tries to hide her drinking habit.

There were lots of birthday shout-outs to catch up on.

Slyder Balzcock brought everyone up to date on what’s happening in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament

Another hilarious update from the IWS Tech Support and the Crazy Computer Lady

Matt-Man and Jayman agreed that if the Dayton Flyers had not been forced to play the Play-In Game they would have whipped Oklahoma in the Sweet 16 and then who knows what might have happened!

Jayman had an unfortunate altercation with a rude Subaru driving hippie chick.

Bobby Kraft filled in for Dusty Sandman and gave us a report from HIGHHHHHHHHH above Panama City Beach and spring break action.

Jayman told the story about almost getting arrested in Dallas while talking to a tranny hooker.

Matt-Man told us about how bored he was during his one spring break trip to Daytona

Guy Ahnyurdyck reported live from Jerusalem

The Alarmist Weatherman used weather catch phrases to help people prepare for tornado season.

Matt and Jay called up Beer Mine Beth and she just chatted up a storm

And soooooooooo much more! Check it out!

Matt Said, Jay Said...(270) 554-1123

Matt rages.  Jay steams.  You recoil with anger.

Matt:  Hello Jayman…How are you?
Jay:  How did you know it was me?
Matt:  Who else would it be?
Jay:  It could have been a stranger calling in.
Matt:  But this is a private show call.  Who else would know?
Jay:  That British bitch from BTR.
Matt:  I suppose that she would know.
Jay:  I hate her.
Matt:  I do too.

Jay:  You know who else I hate?
Matt:  Who?
Jay:  Hipsters.
Matt:  I’m not sure if I am completely clear as to what defines one as a hipster.
Jay:  Well if you aren’t sure, you probably ARE one!!
Matt:  Oh dear.
Jay:  Oh dear is right, Mr. Hipster.

Matt:  I really can’t stand vegans.  In fact, they suck.
Jay:  They suck big time.  You know who else sucks?
Matt:  Who might that be?
Jay:  Hippies.
Matt:  I dunno, there are good hippies and bad hippies.
Jay:  Ya think?
Matt:  I’m pretty sure.
Jay:  Hey…Y’know what?
Matt:  Lay it on me.

Jay:  We could do a show about our hate for hipsters and hippies.
Matt:  Sounds good but hate should come in threes.
Jay:  Good point Mr. Alliteration…hmmmmm…HACKS!!
Matt:  I definitely do hate hacks.
Jay:  Hipsters, Hippies, and Hacks Oh My!!
Matt:  Brilliant!!
Jay:  I know, right?

Matt:  It should be pretty easy to fill two hours discussing persons and groups of people we hate.
Jay:  Pfffffffffffft…We could do that every week and never be done.
Matt:  Paul Piatt has long list of literary hacks.
Jay:  And there are comedic hacks and a slew of Judgy McJudgerson’s out there.
Matt:  And Vegans!!
Jay and Matt:  Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.

Jay:  I’m sure Rev. Moneymaker and Bobby Kraft have some hate in their gentle souls as well.
Matt:  Guy Ahnyurdyck and Cliven Bundy may have a few words as well.
Jay:  Cliven?  He’s not going to use the “N-word” is he?
Matt:  He might utter negro.
Jay:  He’s a dick.
Matt:  Of course he is.

Jay:  We should probably have Schmoop on at some point.  She hates everything and everyone.
Matt:  Don’t I know it.
Jay:  I tell you what…this Sunday?  Hate will never sound so funny.
Matt:  We are going to crush it.
Jay:  And crush the loathsome people of this earth.

Jayman Through the Years

Hola y’all! One of the things people ask me about most is my past. Seems as though I’m some kind of international man of mystery to most of you people and you get to wondering about me. So, I thought I’d take everyone a photographic journey through my life today and maybe you’ll know me a little better that way.

I was born in the Spring of 1968, just before all hell broke loose in America. Luckily, I arrived in time to attend the Woodstock Music Festival in ’69 with my fellow “Free Love Hippies.”

Those were some good times. Dropping acid and making love under the stars and shit like that. We were gonna change the world you know! Well, those days eventually gave way to the Disco Era of the 70’s. More wild times! I had a closet full of leisure suits and an awesome fro and was hitting Studio 54 a few nights a week!

Unfortunately Disco died a brutal and untimely death and things really got weird.  The 80’s was all about big hair, heavy metal music and cool fashion like Member’s Only Jackets. I spent most of that decade on the West Coast partying and rock ‘n rolling hard with the likes of Phoebe Cates.

Ohhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Hottest babe ever! That’s pretty much all the 80’s had to offer though and by the time the 90’s hit we were all ready for something completely different.  Yeah, it was Grunge time y’all! Nasty hair, plaid shirts and jackets and all the music was just someone mumbling into the microphone bitching about some shit nobody could understand.

It was awful really. The mosh pits were gross and full of guys who never showered or anything. People were doing crack and meth and it just wasn’t as fun as the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s had been. Mostly it was meaner and there was a lot less love to go around.

Then the 2000’s hit and things got a lot worse. All we ever did was hang out on street corners in our Sopranos style track suits flashing our bling and keeping folks in line. People were up to all kinds of dirty deals too. Not just selling a little weed to the working man or even just crack and meth to freaks either. We were into serious corruption like money laundering and providing protections. It got pretty scary yo ….

I’m glad those days are behind me. You know that partying all the time and doing drugs and gang-banging and shit is a young man’s game. I ain’t about that life anymore. Nope. Today I’m just your average everyday mild-mannered internet radio star who sometimes shows up on the red carpet with someone like Blake Lively …

I guess we all gotta grow up sometime right? A whole lifetime of Rock ‘n Roll and partying and living in the fast lane is just too much. I mean, I’m glad I did it cause those were some wild times no doubt, but this whole international celebrity thing has its advantages too. I guess all this just gets mixed together and makes me the man I am today.

I hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane.
