IWS Person of the Week: Moms!!

Once again it is Sunday, so once again that means it's time for the IWS Person of the Week. And of course as today is Mother's Day, we can't help but name each and every mom in the world as our IWS Person of the Week.

We all have strong feelings for our moms, be they good or bad; so let's take time to celebrate and hate them on this very special day...

In fact Mother's Day is so special to us here at IWS Radio, that we are devoting today's IWS Radio broadcast to all of the mothers out there, and it will go something like this...

It's Mother's Day and Matt and Jay are here to help mommies all over the world celebrate. Nobody loves mommies more than Matt-Man and Jayman. Not just their moms either. They love your mom too. AND ... Your mom loves them right back. Matt and Jay are very popular with moms.

Singles moms, working moms, stay at home moms, pet moms, step-moms, wannabe moms, potential moms, dead moms, estranged moms, living moms ... IWS Radio is going to celebrate ALL the moms!

If you are a mom or had a mom you count! Granted some moms are better than others, and Matt and Jay will be discussing that too. Plus, some moms are at war with other moms. Why? Well, it complicated, but the gang at IWS Radio is here to provide a full analysis of this phenomenon.

As always Canadian Bureau Jamie Mapleleaf will be here along with the rest of the IWS Players to talk moms and other important issues of the day. Things like the pending military takeover of Texas by the Obama administration. What's up with that? And all the other wacky and silly things going on the world too.

All this and YOUR CALLS at 661.244.9852! All moms get moved to the front of the line! Call us up and tell us how hard it is to be a mommy!

So join Jay, Matt, and the IWS Radio gang LIVE TODAY from Noon-2 PM ET as IWS Radio presents: Mothers Invented Loving Families

Sean Hannity Interviews Sydney Leathers. The Porn Was a Flyin'!!

Cheeeeeeers and Happy Anniversary to two of the greatest people that I have, or ever will know.

My mom and dad.

That’s right.

On August 6, 1945...my future mom and dad, got married.

While hundreds of thousands of Japanese were being spontaneously turned into yellowish, irradiated Cream of Corn soup by the inaugural A-Bomb, Jack and Mary Anne Mahoney were whooping it up, and by night fall, were already working on the first of nine beautiful babies.

So, although they both have been half-lifed up to that great, plutonium-type silo in the sky, here’s wishing Jack and Mary Anne a wonderful 68th wedding anniversary!!

Typically, I am not big on anniversaries.  I think anniversaries are somewhat silly, because I tend to remember a happy event, or one that causes myself or the collective us to pause in a sad sense throughout the year randomly and spontaneously.

Birthdays, Arbor Day, 4th of July, and the day that Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot, are all observed as anniversaries and/or holidays, and yet…

While I may rejoice, and/or reflect for a moment on said days like those, I really don’t, nor never have observed holidays…until now…

You see?

In addition to today being my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary, August 6, 2013 is the fifth day anniversary of Sean Hannity interviewing, soothing, feeling sorry for, and broadcasting his admiration for, Weinergate temptress Sydney Leathers, during the 4 PM hour of his August 1st edition of his radio show.

I will mark this anniversary down as the one of the greatest moments in comedic history.

It seems as though fate would have it, today it was revealed that one, brow beaten, victimized by Anthony Weiner, Sydney Leathers…is less than intimidated by getting naked for the camera!!

I know!!  I was in disbelief myself, right!!?

I was in disbelief for two reasons…First, she seemed like such a stand-up girl who was sadly coerced into having an online love affair with Anthony Weiner, so I wondered…why would she exploit such a sad affair?

Secondly?

Why would any chick with smaller tits than Phil Mickelson and bigger thighs than Tony Siragusa allow herself to be filmed in the buff!?

Uuch!!  Makes no sense.  No sense at all.

Anyhoo…

Last Thursday, Sean “I’m a Devout Catholic Who Refuses to Wear His Wedding Ring” Hannity had her on his radio show, and he was feigning OUTRAGE by the behavior of Anthony Weiner all the while cooing, cajoling, and sympathizing with the “victim”, one Ms. Leathers.

Ha…Sean is such a dick.

But that’s okay, because a dick such as Sean Hannity interviewing a victimized soft porn star like Sydney Leathers makes perfect sense.

Got to hand it to Hannity…He knows good radio!!

Cheers!!

Moms are Awesome

Remember when you were little? Really little. Like two or three years old. Remember how there really weren't too many cares in the world. You just played with your toys and ate and slept. Mom was always there to get your toys or talk to you or read to you and feed you. Then it came time to start preschool. Remember how you didn't really like this change in your schedule? How mom would take you to pre-school and leave you there with all those strangers and you’d cry. You wanted your mommy. But, then mom would always be there, every day to pick you up. So after a while you realized that mom was going to still be there. And you were going to get to tell her all about your day and she still fed you and played with you and read to you and everything was okay. Then you had to start real school. Again, this wasn't all that great of an idea. No more naps. No more half days. All day every day. And then things got confusing. Dad decided to leave. You didn't understand at all. But mom was there to explain it to you and help you understand. Again at the end of the school day there was mom. And she would still do all those great things and now you were learning to read and she would let you read to her. Then as the years moved along you started feeling like exploring a little further and further from home. But, when things got a little scary you turned and went right back to mom again. And you really still didn't have any cares. You watched TV, listened to music, and did you homework with mom’s help. Then you got into Jr. High. Now there were a lot of changes taking place. People were changing. Some for good and some for bad. Again, mom was there to help explain what was happening. Then school work began to change. You needed a bit more help and wanted further understanding of what you were supposed to be learning. And of course, there was the opposite sex. Mom was going to have to handle these explanations too. So now it was High School time. Now it was learning to drive. Lots of peer pressure. Lots of awkwardness. Lots of trouble with friends and the opposite sex. Again, you turn to mom for support. All the while you are pushing the boundaries. Seeing how far you could push things trying mom’s patience the whole time. Then it was college. College sucked. You came home two weekends in a row. You didn't admit to being homesick and you didn’t have to. Mom knew but didn’t say anything. She was cool like that. Then you decided you just couldn't stand college anymore. So you moved back home. Then after a while you decided to go back and finish school up. Mom was there to provide support and tell you that you can do it. And you did. And mom was so proud. And then you began making your way through the world and making your own decisions, some of them good, some of them bad. No matter what you always had that support there from mom. You always knew that if you needed anything or anyone you could just call mom.

Remember all that??

Yeah, that’s my mom. She’s awesome.
