I’m not a happy man right now because I just deleted my original post, but I believe in redemption. I believe that things can change for the better, and really?
That is what tonight and oddly enough, in the form of Charlie Daniels, a chick named Lori, and me, Matt-Man is all about.

I and Jayman were chastised by right wing morons via Greg Gutfeld on Twitter Monday night.
Horribly…
Now don’t get me wrong, it was good for business, but stupid, ill-informed, over-the top insults which really said nothing about who Jay or I truly are, are just well…silly, and show a trumped up ideological depravity amongst Americans.
Well…except for the comments calling me an asshole, but nonetheless….
Tonight I somewhat got into it again with another right winger, one Mr. Charlie Daniels, but let me tell you…
Other than this tweet, he wasn’t so bad…

Eh, I mean, it’s not that harmful…Not really, and unlike those Gutfeldians who attacked Jay and I on Monday, ha….It’s like the difference in hotness between Scarlett Johansson and Rosie O’Donnell.
I also received a less than pleasant tweet from a right leaning chick who evidently likes Mr. Daniels, but after we exchanged a few words, she tweeted this to me…

Unlike last Monday during our back and forth with folks over the no-talent Greg Gutfeld and his idiotic followers being rude and brain dead, today we had Lori being diplomatic and nice, and Charlie Daniels just casually giving me shit.
Why can’t we as Americans have that all the time?
I don’t agree with Charlie Daniels nor Lori on politics, but we weren’t calling each other homophobes, racists, bigots, and assholes during our tweets like the other day…
Oh sure, we may have thought that (not really) and in fact, I implied that someone who follows and commented on my remarks about Charlie Daniels is a bigot, but I never thought that of CD nor Mizz Lori. I try not to lump people into groups, and well…
At least in this instance, we didn’t, and let me tell you…
I was in a good mood today, and even though, as I do at times try to raise hell or promote some discomfort on Twitter, tonight I am glad I did.
Because I find Charlie Daniels and Lori, while not to be to my political liking, sill to my liking as people, and that is more important.
I hope you find the same in others, regardless of politics.
